A Little Roundup Post
I don’t often feel all that bloggy, and when I do, I don’t seem to have the time, but I do now, so I figured it was time for a little roundup of what’s been going on in life other than the shoulder crap. (That’s getting boring, anyhow.)
My dad had a double bypass surgery on his heart on Thursday and returned home scarred, bruised, and optimistic on Sunday. (YEESH!) I give God the glory for directing the surgeon’s hand and making my dad well. It is so good to know that with God’s blessing, he’ll be around for a lot longer!
We are looking forward to relatives coming to visit soon for Lily’s big 1st birthday! I am looking so forward to this milestone but it saddens me at the same time. I can’t believe that a year has managed to race by like it has and that my sweet baby girl will very soon be a lot less baby and nearing toddlerhood.
In preparation for their visit, we’re getting a few things done around the house. The thing I am most excited for is getting our carpets repaired and cleaned.
Otherwise, I am concentrating on finding a way to exercise, keep up with house work, stay on track with weight loss and be a decent mother. Whew!
